Alternate Universe challenge S4, "Election Night"
"Welcome to the White House, Mr. Bailey." Sam held out a hand and grinned.
Will shoved his hands in his pockets. "That's Congressman Bailey. Don't screw with me, Sam. You pulled your name at the last minute. I didn't want this."
"I thought Wilde was going to lose. I only gave you my name because -"
"You gave your word, and you broke it. I'm a Democrat, Mr. Seaborn, but I'll find a way to screw you over personally." The new representative turned and left without a word, leaving Sam considering his fate.
And so Mr. Bailey came to Washington.
