calendar drabbles
Here are two more... January and February are below.
March (I'm Gonna March You Down the Aisle) J/D, G
When Margaret planned Bonnie's wedding, she made sure they marched down the aisle together; Donna as Bonnie's bridesmaid and Josh as Ed's groomsman. The plan was insidious. Throughout the ceremony, Josh found himself unable to tear his eyes from Donna, clothed in white in his mind's eye and standing at the altar by his side. Their ceremony; the reception celebrating their love; the day attended by the President...
"... kiss the bride," the minister said, and Josh snapped out of his daydream to find Donna tugging him toward the aisle, garbed in red: but the faint memory of white remained.
April (You're the Easter Bunny When You Smile)
"That was fun," Donna admitted as they sat in the car outside Toby and Andys house. "I've never been to a Passover Haggadah before."
Josh grinned. "It's been a long time... my dad would be proud of me..."
"And tomorrow night is CJ's Easter dinner after she drags us all to a mass. It's not quite the same as the Easter service at home, but it'll do."
He paused and collected himself. "We should do this every year," he said.
"It's a good tradition," she said, "all of us..."
"No, you and me," Josh blurted. "This. Us."
Donna smiled. "Yes."
