Plenty of greasy food today and yesterday at the fair. Now, for those of you in other states, the Minnesota State Fair is a big deal. A BIG deal. For the weeks around it, all anyone asks is "Have you been to the fair yet?" or "have you tried --------- on a stick, yet?" Or, of course, the ever popular "have you had the newest state fair food, yet?"
This year's new foods included spaghetti and meatballs on a stick, and cheeseburger wontons. No kidding. And seeing as I do not eat red meat, I didn't try either. I went with Anna today, one of my friends from high school, and we examined the fine arts building and mocked the quilted Last Supper. Cause, really... quilting the Last Supper? Kinda weird. And I decided that I really like watercolors, while Anna prefers oil paintings.
When we got back to my place, we played scrabble! And tied. no kidding.
All in all, a good day back at home, and at the Fair.
