NaNo-ing like madness.

Day Five: Early Morning

12,067 words. And approaching plot. Maybe. If you squint REALLY hard. I do have conflict now, though, something which was lacking entirely as of... oh, 2 pages ago.

How many pages is 12,000 words, you ask? (Or, didn't ask, depending...)

21, single spaced. My goal for this weekend is to hit 20,000. We'll see if it happens...

And now, sleep. Tomorrow: much more NaNo, and trying on dresses for gbuugg's upcoming nuptuals!

Bah.

So, went to go try on dresses for gbuugg's wedding today. Forgot to make an appointment,because I'm stupid. Now, the dress shop is 30 minutes away on a traffic-less day, which doesn't exist in Chicago. Lovely uzbad drove me. We get there, and though there is space for me to try the dresses on, the incredibly rude woman working at the shop informed me that I can't try on the dresses unless I pay $25. To try on sample dresses?? What the hell??

So tomorrow, I'm going somewhere else. And I made an appointment, so I'll be really bitchy if they are mean. Because... I made an appointment. So there.

And today was horrible at work too, so I'm just going to veg, write, and do laundry today. Nothing else.
