Knitting Therapy

I hosted Thanksgiving with uzbad. it was a first, for both of us. First Turkey together, first time doing most of the food (parisienne had a thanksgiving earlier in the day, but brought a pie and cranberries anyway, and hadrianlivius brought pie, and Rubina brought lovely salad and pie, and Rob provided wine which didn't get imbibed). We made my family's stuffing, green beans, and turkey recipe, and uzbad's family's oyster stuffing, sweet potatoes, and gravy. Nothing was perfect, per se, but for a night full of firsts... not bad. Not bad at all.

Another first: I'm calling back a potential PERMANENT employer tomorrow. I was left a voice message on Wednesday saying I should call back on Friday to discuss "job possitibilities". Sounds promising, eh? I'm sure I'll be posing, squeeing with joy, if I did get the job i've been wanting for years and years. And not meaning to be too cryptic or anything, but I don't want to spread around exactly what that job is. If I get it, feel free to ask ;)

I finished washing almost all of the dishes. a couple can wait until tomorrow morning after The Phone Call. Gosh, I'm really nervous about it. I know I shouldn't be, but I REALLY WANT THIS JOB. *bites nails*
