Knitting Therapy

Today was for making the Walton family cookies and for hanging around. I went through to label all of the VHS tapes and found a home video from my Uncle steve in 1992. That's when my cousin Rebecca was less than a year old. The video included Becca's first Christmas. Mom came and sat with me and looked on, pointing out that one cousin is in prison - she's seen him so few times that she wouldn't recognize him on a street. Two of the cousins have babies, all are younger than I. Another dropped out of high school. An aunt weighs at least a hundred pounds more than in the video. She wandered off and I was left watching the moments past and wondering how I'd remember our own Christmas in years to come.
