I went to Target today to get another 10pack of my claritin-d for my allergies. I took it to the desk to check out, and was told that I'm only allowed to get one pack of Claritin every month.
Excuse me?
That's 10 doses. So ten days out of every month, I'm allowed to breathe? Ten days a month, my eyes won't itch, while the other twenty I'm doomed to being miserable?
Thanks, Federal Government! Thanks for passing the MOST RIDICULOUS LAW I have ever heard of! Let's deny allergy medication, which has only recently gone to being over the counter, to our citizens who are in need of it! Yes! So in addition to not having medication for an illness paid for by our insurance, now we don't get it when we need it! Good job, Feds! I salute you for your COMPLETE IDIOCY.
In addition, I now have to go get a prescription for Claritin, so that I can get a months' supply at a time. My prescription expired years ago, because Claritin went over the counter. So, now I won't even get prescription coverage, but have to go through the hassle of getting a prescription for an OVER THE COUNTER medication that I need to BREATHE!
Long live the bureaucracy! Long live the stupidity! And long live my allergies which have, indeed, won the day at last!
