Donna called Stanley Keyworth, but all Josh could hear was the CNN commentary. "Welcome to Sunnydale, this sign invites, but any visitor will note a crater gaping mere steps behind me."
She was so calm — Sam could be dead in that hole. Will was at the door, but Josh couldn’t explain why the tilted sign brought on physical pain.
"It’s an earthquake," Will mumbled. "We’ve got to concentrate on Zoey. We need the President back."
President Bartlet was the Real Thing. Sam knew it; Josh knew, too. So, for Sam, Josh would hang on. All for Sam — dead in California.
