durham_knits at 10:01am on 07/01/2004Am terrible sister. Currently going through Kelsey's unmarked CDs to figure out what sister listens to, using her CD player. Have just discovered that sister listens to Enrique Iglesias. Shame! Shame on me for not forcing more a cappella down her throat until she liked it! Gah. Enrique Iglesias. I'll bet she got it from the CD I got for free in the mail. *shudder* Should have burned it when I had the chance...
Now, there's some songs of taste on this burned CD. Don't get me wrong. Having cemented her love of "(I Will Walk) 500 Miles" I feel a bit better about the musical state of my dear little sister. But she has not been indoctrinated with Damien Rice or Jason Mraz! I'm simply ashamed.
And now there's Ricky Martin. Oh, the high school flashbacks... my spanish teacher was obsessed with Ricky Martin in junior year. He sang on some award show in v. tight pants, and she taped it and showed it to us every few days because she liked his pants. She was the same teacher who showed us veggie tales. And we did art projects.. Man, I miss art projects. We should have art projects at school, like, colouring days and such. Colouring is stress relieving... although I suppose knitting is sort of a stress reducing device. and so is West Wing. Mmmm, West Wing Wednesday... I'd almost forgotten... I get to watch it when I get to [hawk]'s! Yay!
Well, it's about an hour before I leave for Iowa. I'll see all of you Grinnellians on the 19th. Miss ya, pirates!
