This it totally yoinked from
bessiemaemucho's blog, but I'm putting off homework, so here it is...
1. My name is Sarah Elizabeth Katherine. My mother's maiden name is Walton.
2. I'm a slowly-becoming-less-lapsed Catholic. But I'm one of those Christians who believes that since Jesus was a Jew, Christians should be, too. I keep Kosher.
3. I really like bagels. Like, a lot. I'm eating a bagel right now. Asiago Cheese. I don't even need cream cheese.
4. I have a little sister, named Kelsey Elyse Jude. We make fun of her for the last one.
5. I don't have a little brother, not by blood. But I do have a little brother of the soul, and he knows who he is.
6. I'm a flaming liberal.
7. I've always been interested in the Middle East. Now, I get to do something about it.
8. I believe in destiny, and in evidence of things not seen.
9. My best friend in elementary school was named Annie. My best friend in middle school was named Kallie. I didn't have a best friend in high school. My best friend in college is Gina.
10. I like to role play. A lot. I'm in 4 campaigns this semester, I ran one, and I was in 2 one-shots. And I'm running one more finals week.
11. I like to write.
12. I like to write fanfiction. Usually, it's Harry Potter, West Wing, or Buffy.
13. It used to be Star Trek.
14. I post it online, sometimes. I've got twice as much still on my harddrive. I only post finished products.
15. I just knit a blanket for my room next year.
16. I'm a trekker.
17. My favourite book is "The Solitaire Mystery" by Jostein Gaarder. I'm reading "Sophie's World" right now, and it's good, but it's not nearly so good as that one. He's my favourite author, too.
18. I'm an Anglophile. I write like it.
19. I've taken Spanish, Hellenistic Greek, and Biblical Hebrew. I'm starting Modern Arabic in the fall. I'm a language masochist.
20. My current favourite song is "Going Under" by Evanescence.
21. I like cheesy Disney movies. I want to watch Aladdin, right now.
22. I love a cappella music more than any other kind.
23. I was one of four juniors to be selected for the a cappella jazz choir at my high school, and I was invited back senior year.
24. I love to sing, and will sing along with my music incessantly. I think I annoyed
mindmaven with it when we were roommates. I love her anyway :)
25. I like hymns. I do not like Christian pop. Christian pop makes me want to vomit.
26. I'm a religious studies major. I think McCutcheon should be beaten outside of Steiner for all to watch.
27. I like making lists.
28. I don't have a favourite movie. I'm partial to Pirates of the Carribean and the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but it changes quite often.
29. I'm a Harry Potter addict. I also think Ron will date Luna. So there.
30. I'm allergic to grass.
31. I don't smoke.
32. My cellphone plays Hava Nagila as a ring tone.
33. I love drama. In high school, I was in 4 musicals, and in 3 community musicals.
34. I love backstage work. I was backstage manager for 2 musicals.
35. I assistant directed 3 plays.
36. I directed a play my senior year of high school.
37. I got the director's award and scholarship in drama from my high school. I might be more proud of that than anything else.
38. I love film noir. My play was based on a film noir feeling.
39. If I could have any job in the world, I'd research historical costumes for the movie industry.
40. My favourite Austen book is Sense and Sensibility.
41. I used to be ridiculously shy. Sometimes, I still am.
42. I really like hugs.
43. I can't stand instrumental music, except from soundtracks. Give me vocal, or don't bother.
44. My goal is to someday get a book published. Just one. That's all I ask for.
45. I've read almost every book in the fantasy/scifi section of the Roseville Public Library.
46. I have one sister and two, married parents.
47. And a cat. Named Molly.
48. We used to have a cat named Rosie, but she was very sick. She used to sit in my lap and let me pet her, when I was in 3rd grade. We only had her for a few months.
49. When I get a cat, I'm going to name it Frodo. Frodo the cat.
50. My favourite part of the Lord of the Rings is the scouring of the shire. I was most upset that it was left out of the movie.
51. The most holy place I've ever been was the Western Wall.
52. I've been to the Church of the Nativity, but it paled in comparison.
53. At Herodium, where the first scenes of "Jesus Christ, Superstar" were filmed, there is a pilar with a Palestinian flag on it. I've been there.
54. I've always wanted to see Petra.
55. My pseudo-advisor from Macalester is just like Indiana Jones.
56. I love to read about the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the Holocaust.
57. I'm especially interested in rebelling groups and guerrilla warfare.
58. Hogan's Heroes is one of my favourite TV shows.
59. So are Buffy, Angel, and West Wing.
60. I never want to run for office. I want to be the guy who helps the guy in office do her job.
61. I hate Minnesota. I hate snow.
62. I love mountains.
63. I love water, and oceans. Lakes, rivers, streams, it doesn't matter. Give me the sound of trickling water and I'm happy.
64. Musicals. Oh man, do I love musicals. Les Mis has a special place in my heart.
65. In high school, my friends and I started writing a round robin story. It's always been my dream to track them all down and get it finished.
66. I'm tired of being single.
67. My screenname comes from a character I played in an online RPG. I miss playing Melmoth. I don't miss being obsessed with Melmoth.
68. I was born in Virginia.
69. Working for NBC was the most worthwhile thing I've done so far. I can only hope my career makes me as happy as NBC did.
70. I write everything on my computer. Pencil and paper just aren't enough anymore.
71. I've always had Macs.
72. My next computer is going to be a PC. I'm scared of it.
73. I hate theory. Philosophy is just too outside the realm of actual life for me to care.
74. At home, I have a ceramic lamp from the Islamic period in Palestine, probably from between 700 and 1200 CE.
75. I think British accents are sexy.
76. I lived in Kilburn Park in England.
77. Just for my dad, I walked down Abbey Road.
78. The most beautiful place I've ever been was the Aran Islands in Ireland. My goal is to someday get back there and sit on the cliffs again.
79. I want to go to Disney World for my honeymoon.
80. Or to the Star Trek Experience in Vegas.
81. I'm a big, big nerd.
82. I'm afraid to be a grown up, but I think it's already too late.
83. I like art. I like to colour. I like to paint. I like sketching things and people. I hate modern art.
84. I'm heterosexual. I think gays and lesbians should be able to get married if they feel like it.
85. I miss my friends from high school.

88. My 6th grade teacher taught me that I'm good enough.

95. I hate rap music. I don't think it's really music. I don't see why more people don't enjoy harmonies and, you know, real sound.

98. My extended family lives in Cincinnati, OH. My dad's family is originally from Hornbach, Germany. My mom's family has been in the United States since before the Declaration of Independence. They signed it.

100. I'm a feminist, and I want 2 kids, a cat, a happy marriage, and a happily ever after in the city and job of my wildest dreams.
